About My Love of Art

I’ve always been very visual. I never really thought of art history though as a major (I was on the photography path) until I saw Mona Lisa Smile. It had nothing to do with Julia Roberts or the story line it was all about this one painting she takes her students to see that is mish mash of muted colors. It was totally fantastic! That kind of got the idea in my head. Then I took an Art History class to fulfill my art requirement for school and absolutely fell in love with Roman art. It didn’t hurt either that I could just sit back and listen to lectures and casually read the book and remember everything. I know I have a pretty good memory and all but I could remember the most minute details and I realized that this is something that I not only love but something I am good at.
